	Stormtrooper Since 2002, I've been wearing the Stormtrooper armor as TK-4950 in the 501st Legion.

	R2-D2 While this isn't a costume, it is the largest project I've worked on so far. Follow along as I build a life-size, radio-controlled R2-D2.

R2-D2 Project
Follow along as I build a remote-control life-size R2-D2 astromech droid.

I'm Matt Myers, TK-4950, a retired member of the 501st Star Wars costuming group. I'm a life-long fan of Star Wars and movie prop collecting. My exposure to the 501st lead to me starting my first costume, an Imperial Stormtrooper. Since then, I've added to the collection with a Biker Scout and a Royal Guard costume. I've also started building a radio-controlled R2-D2 astromech droid.

In the 501st, I became involved with the production of HEART OF AN EMPIRE, the documentary film chronicling the 501st costuming group.
